Hey Everyone!

Im new to this site. I think this would really help me get some more advice and experience. This is my first hydro grow. I am using a DWC system. i just finished germinating my seeds. When the seedlings were about an ince long I placed them in rockwool cubes and then place the cubes in the net pots with hydroton. I have my PH level to about 5.8. I know that i must maitain the PH but I really dont know what else I need to do to maintain my seedlings. How long will it take for the seedlings to sprout and did i do the right thing by covering the cubes with hydroton already? Please HELP! I am not expecting my first grow to be successful but i would really like for it to be!

ANY ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I don't use the hydroton, I have used the rockwwol cubes for seeds. Get the hydroton away from the center of the cube. Your seed should be almost visible when planted, don't want the shoot to have to grow around a pebble. After it sprouts, then......VV

Thanks, thats exactly what I was thinking. I moved all the hydroton away from the center. I planted the seedlings about 1/4in. down in the cubes. Im not using a HID just 2 flourescent tubes. I also used a 1/4 strength nutrient mix and I have the PH at 5.8...So where do I go from here?

Cut the nutes out they don't need and can't use it yet. Don't do anything to the plants right now. If you can cover them with a dome it would be helpful, they like it moist and warm until they get above the soil. Read, read, read. It should probably be about two weks before you actually start the system watering them, I don't use dwc so maybe someone that has will comment on this. VV
