Default Hello

Hello all i have been lurking and dreaming for some time now {did the same before with Overgrow.com} But At last the time has finally come to begin. I have Hydro experience from a system i built and a system i bought. I used to run them outside and grow tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and many different herbs. However while i have seen a friend do it quite well i have never attempted an indoor grow. I feel that i have learned a vast amount watching friends, Videos and generally browsing the forums of any website i could find for years now. But I have no problem recognizing the vast amount of knowledge the members of this website have to share and hope to benefit from it. My First attempt is simply to re veg a small plant a friend gave me after sexing it. She has been under 6 23watt walmart brand cfls now 24 hours a day for a few weeks along with some bag seeds i germinated in a wet paper towel and planted in some jiffy pots just to play around with (boredom) My grow is for now contained in a small end table like piece of furniture i painted the inside originally with killz but i later opted to line it with a reflective car windsheild cover it looks like mylar with a bubble wrap center {if anyone can understand what im trying to explain , can you tell me if this is a good idea???} i have a small desk fan shoved in a 6" to 4" duct reducer that draws air out from near the top of the box connected to a black flexible {like accordion style} tube i think its supposed to connect to the end of a gutter or downspout that vents the air out the bottom of the box and bends 90 degrees to keep the light in. I then 4" hole for a passive intake in the bottom to witch i have connected a cardboard mailing tube witch i cut and taped together at a 90 degree angle to keep light from escaping. Its all lit up by a 18" 3 bulb bathroom vanity light i attached a splitter to each socket so it now holds 6 bulbs wired it to a plug and attached it inside the box. Mind you this box is only meant to be a veg/clone box i hope to get a 400 watt from HTG Supply ASAP {are digital ballasts really silent and how much noise does a 400 watt magnetic ballast really make???}. I want to be as stealth as possible {no i'm not 16 trying to hide it from my mom i'm just paranoid} So i was thinking Of one of the Mills pride cabinets {c-22,c-23 etc.} but i read on the net that they dont make them anymore. so what do i do now??? Does Anyone know of a similar cabinet made by anyone??? Well i have said enough for now, I'll Keep you posted in my progress.
Thank you
