Well, the wife and I are both 53. She hurt her back at work about a year ago and won't ever be able to return to the workforce. A little weed seems to help the pain more than all the pills the dr prescribes so we decided to register for the Montana medical marijuana program....I'll be her caregiver (grower)
There's a lot to learn (we really haven't been smokers since the 80's) but it doesn't seem to be rocket science. Thanks to all who post info here...it's very helpfull.

nice answer but id like to clear a few things up.

people have these misconceptions about dealers (no i aint a dealer if you read my posts and what not youll realise im just a bloke that follows his beliefs and enjoys his own homegrown medacine- my friends that are lucky enough to visit when i have a chop they get some but id never sell it... not anymore anyways lol- thats the shit w all did as kids ya know) but it tought me some interesting life lessons.

point 1:
wihout them there would be no medacine for anyone. they are taking the risk to provide you a service. i am greatful for the dealers where i live they help me out when i run out of my own.

point 2
just cos your a dealer dont mean your a kingpin or druglord as you called it.

if your dealers an asshole find a better one

in case you didnt know a lot of the herb that we get to enjoy every day comes from family run businesses. the true battlers that are just trying to follow there dreams and farm the land.

KOG is a good example of this.its not the growers fault that by the end of the chain its generally in the hands of druglords, bikies and your common every day run of the mill shitty as you called it dealer.

this is a bad way to view the world and when you get down to the dirtist of the dirty its the governments fault its so bad they have turned us all into disshonest people. one you shouldnt reffer to them as dealers more so they are contacts or your very own medacine peddlers. and why should ww be one to stand in the way of their dreams. there living the way they want to live there life free or as close to.

besides like i said most of them are just families, pensioners and the misfortunate trying to get by. ie: when my personal stash runs out i get mine from a few places and quite a few of them are in it so there family can get by or so they can afford there medacine. one of my contacts is really disabled, 4 have really bad disabilities and a shitty check from the government thats not enough to survive on, one has cancer and does it to help cover the costs of her medacine and the list goes on. the comercial growers i know also help a lot of people like this out.

bottom line there all good people and when i run out of my own i have no problem handing them my coin. as i said if your contacts an ass find a better one someone you believe deserves the coin.

Thanks for the kind words.(Especially the rep).I don`t deserve it.I just try to treat everybody kindly.I guess it`s the way I was brought up.I`m 56 and have been disabled since 94.I take morphine 4 times a day just so I can get through the day.Even at 45mg a whak it`s not enough.It really sucks.I`ve smoked for a long time.It helps in ways I can`t explaine.I`ve traveled around the world many times.I was a Merchant Marine for a long time.I think India and Sri Lanka are two of the best places in the world.Great people and SUPER HASH.I`ve got a bad problem tho.I can smoke a joint or hit my vaporizer.I get a buzz. But it just lasts for a few minutes.I don`t care what it is.I`ve been smokin Chronic and Big Bang for several weeks now.I know it`s good.I`ve got a guy that smokes with me alot.When he hits my vaporizer I can watch his eyes change.LOL It`s funnier than shit.It just doesn`t hit me like that.....Any sugestions.....Thanks Drif
