Once a day, I check the pH, and adjust it back to 5.6 to 6.2, shooting for close to 5.9, simple enough.

Sup Kendog000, whats happenin'. About your question concerning water, do not use water thats gone through a water-softener! There will be extra salts in the water etc that will lock up the nutes in ur soil. Either collect rain water or distill your own, it will be better for your plants.

I was paid $50 to do some research on WATER and Hydroponics this summer and write a newsletter about it.
Bottom line was water ran through a water softner is the worst to use, next to rain water (acidity). City water is just fine and does not need to sit as alot of growers advise. RO water is ultimate best, distilled water is 2nd best.

got a couple q's for you folks, i started some beans in FF light warrior, they are around 3 weeks old now, and they seem to be curved downward, i have not feed anything, and have always watered with ph'd correct water, no nutes. at the moment they are under CFL's 6500 range and im not sure if they need nutes, or have too much from the light warrior, my first time using this stuff so im not too sure, thay are gently curved the entire length of the leaf, also the orig cotys are yellowing up, time for nutes????
