Question Intro w/ questions

Hi all,
I still consider myself a newbie even thou i've been working at this for a minute now. "The first step on the road to wisedom is to first admit that you don't know anything" I always like to keep that quote in mind when going thru life. I learned something just by stopping by this forum, been cruising round this site for months. But anyway been thinkin bout starting a journal but unsure of all the need to know things, like is a proxy server necessary when posting and if so best place to use

welcome to the riu boards. I think i have a proxy server on my connection, where ever i try and look up my ip addy it shows me as somewhere far away lol.

I tried using one w/ this site once and couldn't log in so i wasn't sure if it was needed
