yea kinds sounds fishy to me. Where do you plan on staying? The cup is held pretty far away from the main part of Amsterdam.

overall it doesnt seem like that great of a deal
anyone can pre-order a pass for $250
airfair can be found from the states for around $700 to 900 if you shop around and buy early.
depending on the hostel....some of them you would have to pay me to stay there.

Lucky lake was a cool place if you plan on residing back to the chill pad early while the tram still runs to smoke yourself silly. Im not sure how that would work for getting to the cup. It is located in Victaveen.

St Christophers at the Windser is really dirty but a great location for redlight.

I think the place is called Old town square. Its ran by a very very proper irish pub. It isnt a hostel but they are large rooms that sleep 4 to 6. I cant find the flyer I saved. Its across from a bar called pinochios (the only bar I seen a pool table in amsterdam) I want to say it on Waramost St. I know I fucked up the spelling of the street name. The barkeep took me up to see a vacant room. The place is just plain tits for a group of people and really well priced considering it sleeps 4-6.

opps not old town....hotel old quarters is the name....

I stayed at the Victoria..supposed to be the #1 hotel in town...
It was ok, great by Euope standards...But its location was the best
take some food with ya...I ate Mcdonalds for every meal..

I heard the cannabis cup is a big scam where the entries of buds are skuffed of trichs(especially ghs) and it doesnt even matter to the judges...heard thw whole event is way overrated...

I here the actual judging is fixed. But who the hell cares really. If you're going there as a vacation, and your not actually entered into the comp. why would you care? It's still gonna be hella fun. I mean...it's effin amsterdam.
