I am a veteran smoker from way back n I just wanted to introduce myself. I feel these forums have helped me a great deal with growin' the ganja. I appreciate every1's feedback. If it wasn't for this place I would be lost.

So as a Noob plz be gentle with me as Im as fragile as the nice sweet smell of the budz u'all r growin'..hehe..lol..

wellllcome man! im pretty new to growing too but on here with the help of some of the experienced growers, you learn fast!

i suggest finding a torrent for the "Grow Bible" book and reading it, its really helpful and teaches you ALL the basics and more about growing weed indoor, outdoor, hydro aero however you want. and allthat good stuff.

well ty..i have learnd alot from this site also. i hear alot everytime in am on RUI.

i just test my soil with my ph meter n it seem to be high on the akaling side. i have six plants n bout 3 are close to 7.5-8, i know its too high. any info on how i can get that down to 6.5 to 7? i have been reading alot bout it and cant figure it out. there growing in potting soil with perlite n vermiculite. the they purifed water i have benn using has a ph of 6.5.
so now im stumped, damnit.

anyone have any suggestion that i can get that alkaline down? i bought some garden lime to add to the soil but i have not make my soil/soilless mix i will be adding it too. does that help with lowering the ph?

any suggests will help, ty..peace out

Lime raises PH i believe.
you are gonna be wanting to increase acidity if it is up there, do this by adding fish compost, manure, ive heard throwing rusty nuts and bolts into the soil can do it to...
or you can go to a plant store and buy something to lower it like most people here probably would.

ty for the info.. i had no ideas since i have been olny been on here for less lthen a month. dint know what lime ph in the soil, ive heard also that it can neutraliz it too. so this is a toss up here. i will find what works bet an hop for the best...thx again..
