Hi,

I have already started posting in Newbie Central but thought I'd introduce myself here!

I'm 24, male and live in the UK (well, London to be more precise).

It sounds kinda weird being on a stoner forum, but I'm not much of a smoker. I smoke when I can (not many of my friends smoke and the ones that do I see once in a blue moon) which means not at home. However, I thought it would be cool to try to grow a plant or 2 and consume it's goodness! It would be far too rude not to.

The best trip I had away recently was the Amsterdam and it was absolutely nuts. One of the best weekends I've ever had. We had such an awesome time. I really recommend you guys that haven't been there (especially those over the pond) to go! Maybe do a tour of Europe if you're coming from afar? Come check us guys out in the UK and make sure you see Amsterdam. You won't regret it!!!

Anyway, whilst there I smoked quite a bit and this really awesome Japanese guy was in the same dorm room as us right in the centre of the Red Light District. He couldn't speak much English at the best of times, but considering he was baked 24/7 whilst I was there made things impossible. I wish I still had his MySpace as he was a DJ and was a pretty awesome trance/techno DJ at that... anyway I'm rambling. So this Japanese guy knew it was my birthday so said to me that morning, "hey man it's your birthday, I give you a nice surprise". So I wander off slightly hungover to the shower room and as I return, this guy (I'll call him Ryu) rolled this monster joint with 'Amnesia'. So I spent the next 45-60 minutes chatting shit with this guy hanging out of the window. This stuff was awesome. My hangover lasted... hmmm I'm not sure, but by the time the joint was done with, put it this way, I couldn't even remember where I was for a split second, let alone know if I had been drinking the previous night.

So I turned around and literally had to grab the lockers for support. Ha this stuff was crazy! For the rest of the morning and into the afternoon was quality. Just window shopping with the boys and finding anything remotely funny the most hysterical thing known to man! Happy days. So I guess you know why my alias is AmnesiaRLD.

I smoke very rarely but would like to smoke a bit more. The trouble is a) getting it b) worried about being hooked c) having to wander by myself out of the house and keeping it from my family and d) being labelled a 'stoner'.

What do you guys smoke weed for if I may ask? For example now I'm drinking a rather nice bottle of Rioja Crianza. Everyone needs their relaxants, right?
