Hello. I currently live in a one-room apartment making growing very impractical at the moment. Regardless I find myself fantasizing about having a garden someday soon. I am starting my research now so I am ready when I can own or rent a property that suits this hobby. I had some general questions on how growing affects one's lifestyle.

How many hours a week do you guesstimate you spend on the plants?
And, do you feel like you spend more money on marijuana before or after you began growing?
It seems like I may spend more money on equipment to grow than I currently spend on marijuana. Not to mention the time investment.

Hey Nemeneas welcome to RIU. Yep the start up will cost ya but once you make the investment in lights and so forth your all set for a new hobby that pays off. I spend a lot of time on my grows cuz I got no other hobbies other than weed testing (lol) but if you don't go to big you don't have to spend a lot of time on it. .

you have to live a fairly isolated life, I never have anyone over. I spend around an hour or two with my plants a week, once everything is setup all you have to do is water. Yeah the initial investment is pricey but it is worth it. I spent 700 bucks to start, but that was a year ago I've saved thousands.
