G'Day all, nice little community I've stumbled upon here. I actually came across this site after doing some green related keywords searches for Melb as I'm new to living in the city & of course am looking to start socialising with some likeminded locals.
Quick info about me originally from Newy NSW, first hit was with my dad bless him (not before my mates did so with him before me!), currently in mid 20’s, an entrepreneur with a small business delivering mainly creative & technical services for private business operating online (no not porn! Respectful businesses, the kind of clients who don’t toke I think, I’d be pleasantly surprised if a few did, but best not to mix business & personal life is a safe bet. *first rant coming on already sorry :s* Isn’t it atrocious that people like us who simply enjoy a natural drug which has caused no fatalities are made to be so discriminated by society as a result of government & media propaganda. Just watched Penn & Tellers: Bullshit episode on
marijuana tonight, got me so worked up again, it’s going to take an entire generation in time before it gets legalised here I believe. So much damage in the public view has been absorbed by the herd of society. I feel a shift is changing in the later generation at least. Anyway…)
Used to live in Newy NSW & getting high was only too easy to do whenever you so please. Dad sometimes grows bush & we the locals love it for a change instead of the typical hyrdo getting around. Meeting an ‘old mate’ to get hooked up could be easily done any time, something I can now appreciate so much more since moving to Melb City & knowing no-one, not being able to score any green (yet). I’ve been for a drive around St. Kilda & City trying to look for someone right but no luck so far, so really craving some green now. I’ve been living here for 3 months now (ran out of my last supplies about a month ago) now am really eager to get that kind of relaxed feeling nothing else matches again. I would grow myself but living in an apartment isn’t so practical I think, I must get to know a nice friendly local dealer to satisfy the on demand needs, an ounce a couple times a year is sufficient. Got some friends from back hometown coming down to visit soon who all smoke as well, so trying to get it sorted before they arrive for a weekend bender most likely. I had 2 friends who previously lived in Melb, & tried to sort getting some through their old dealers but no luck unfortunately! It’s starting to get a little frustrating. I dream of those past good times with friends getting high, sparking up intelligent / passionate / D&M conversations, enjoying music in that heightened feeling, getting intensively involved into a PS3 game, & of course watching a favourite movie or TV show such as King of the Hill, Dilbert, Trailer Park Boys, South Park, ya’know those kinda genres.
Anyway looking forward to meeting anyone who bothers to reply & getting involved in this community in greater depth. Peace out aye.
