My name is Brutus, from California. I work at a legal mmj dispensary. I am proud to be able to work for an outlet that provides affordable methods of medication for those who truly need it. The DEA and other anti marijuana groups are on a constant campaign to announce that smoking marijuana is bad for you, and has no medicinal value. I strongly disagree, being that not all medicine is meant to cure a problem. Sometimes they're meant to help you deal with a problem. I was told by someone that marijuana for a.d.d. is a joke, and a bad excuse for obtaining a medical card. Would you rather pay for therapy that isnt going to work, or take unaffordable pills that have been linked to inducing suicide? I believe MMJ should be prescribed to people suffering with A.D.D. I use it to treat a back and shoulder problem, and can usually go days inbetween needing medication, where as when I was taking prescribed opiates, before, that would leave me wired, while feeling naseated all day.


Everyone knows that smoking is harmfull. Not everyone smokes it. Should your body be in pain because the Government / DEA says you're lungs should be clear? Everything can be abused, even too much candy is a bad thing. Don't let propaganda and ignorant thinking detour you from seeking alternative medical herbs or MMJ.

Dont abuse it either. Weak minds can be affected.

Welcome man, and I was wondering....what are the typical wages that say a bud tender recieves? or any position in a mmj dispensary? I would love to help dispense patients there medicine and work at one......ive seen what it does for my father, and how it helps him...

For one, you need to find a doctor that specializes in MMJ, then make an appointment. You'll fill out forms saying what your problems are, and how mmj helps you. Most patients are current users, and already know how it helps. Most users are normal people just looking for a way to innocently treat a problem without being prosecuted.

Depends on your position, the owner, etc etc. Ive been in clinics that looked to be ran by highschool kids, and I've been into some that have people dressed up like scientists with lab coats. Im sure they made more wearing lab coats, as im also sure they were handling plants in the back. If you're just a counter worker, its often minimum wage.

I am a computer tech, a graphic designer, a dispensor, caretaker, farmer, and have a permit to carry a gun (which I dont do) so I make more than everyone else. I am also a former Investigator of 8 years.
