Hi all. I'm new to all of this (growing not smoking haha!!) I'll be getting out of the army soon and I'm planning on starting out my new life growing/selling and i found this site which has a ton of good info.

first off all this site or alot of the users frown upon discussing selling but if you want to go into a lil more detail in how your going to grow ill help ( indoor out door hydro soil lighting the amount of room you have and if you could be a medical patient)

Sorry guys, i meant selling/working/growing in CO working for a buddy of mine's dispensary. Well my setup is the best i can do with my current cash flow. Don't have a camera at the moment but here is what i have...

oh by the way, i got the plant when it was about an inch and a half tall from a buddy who new about as much as growing as i did at the time. it was growing in sand or some shitty ass dirt from his front yard in a cutoff 2-liter bottle. He was using one of those curly energy saving bulbs and a 12/12 light cycle. I immediately put it on 24/7 when i got it.
I found out about a week ago that i should have started flowering a while back. It has about 14 leaves and the lower ones started dying a little before the transplant to the miracle grow soil; but after that they stopped dying. They haven't fallen off though. But the ones closer to the top are all big, green, and dont have any dead spots or edges. And there are also small leaves growing out of the little nodes where the leaf pairs connect to the stalk.

-it is all in a tough box roughly 3ft long, 2ft wide, and 15in deep (from the bottom of the lights)
-3 24in wide spectrum plant lights from walmart are attached to the inside lid of the box
-its lined with foil but i literally just read that its better to use white paint so i will do that today
-i only have a single white widow in there growing from a plastic milk jug with the top cut off
-miracle grow potting soil with .5% nitrogen.
-the plant is about 7in tall and i started 12/12 about five days ago
-i also have a little plug in fan inside to move the air
-i keep the top propped open about an inch and kind of loosely drape a blanket over the top so no strange light comes in during the "day time", and so no light gets in during the dark periods. but i still have a good air flow i think

well any help/crit would be greatly appreciated. Like i said, first grow. thankyou all and this is a badass website right here.

Welcome from another soldier currently medboarding out. This site is by far the best for growers in my opinion. I've learned alot here and took a little from here and there and some of my own idea's to shape the way I grow now. I spent countless hours just reading and searching through the post's on here. I highly suggest looking in to hydro/DWC to me it was alot easier and cheaper than soil as far as maintaining good plant health and the plants also grew a shit ton faster. My link in my sig has some pics of some plants at only 3 and 1/2 weeks from seed. Any question or anything feel free to PM me.

i agree with the rest, selling in my opinion just makes it harder for the personal growers in grow in peace!! but on a lighter note, good luck with your girl, you might; however, think about growing more than just one in case that she turns out to be a boy (don't want to send you bad karma, we'll keep our fingers crossed for ya!)
