hey everyone im new to this site seen it the other day when i was high as hell and it seemed like the right fit for me. Im 32 been smokin since i was well lets see i think i was 14 its hard to remember after all these years. Now im interested in tryin to grow my own im tired of spendin 3 - 500 for a ounce. Now here is what i can do i can do a closet grow its 4x4x8 i have 3 kids so the basement is out of the question. i was seeing threads bout people using the aerogarden that might be a option for me too. but if anyone can help me out and give me some detailed instructions it would help me out greatly. ive seen some threads on here and i just dont understand some of the termanolgy i need shit broken down in lamens terms haha. if i can get something going for under a grand let me know please and thank you for any help peace!

you should talk to a hydro shop,they will help you with all the goods

i was looking at the grow tents at htgsupply smokey would you suggest doing the soil or the hydroponic tent. also what would you say about exhaust the hydro tent dont say anything about it and the soil one says something bout a fan would i need anything else would this fit in my closet or would i have to keep it in the basement. then what do i do bout the smell.

I'd go soil. Hydro is so much more complicated and expensive. Soil is better for a noob, imo.

I have done both and I am predominately a dirtbag grower now...... and MUCH happier.

I am only here to gather information for a friend of my brother. Pot do smoke not I.

Id go soil especially if its your first time. A lot can go wrong with a hydro set up if you're new to growing.

I think the tent comes with everything exhaust fan included. As for the smell you can get a carbon filter.

thanks alot guys your info is greatly needed and i will try the soil since this is my first time i got some seeds from so decent mids that i had just to practice but when it comes time where would you guys suggest gettin my seeds from or even the best strain for a newbie like me

Welcome to Rollitup. With kids, have an area that is off limits to them, ie: walk in closet or space in the house where they are not allowed and you can lock it. I would also start with soil, way easier for a beginner.
