Default i have a heat and ventilation issues

whats up everybody! i am new to this site and new to growing. i was wondering if i put a fan blowing on my lights will that help cool them down? i am growing in a decent size walkin closet and its gettin real hot. the only way i can vent the room is by leaving the door open for a few. will my crop grow with such poor ventilation?
