noob grower here, just trying out my first time. Trying to do most of this DIY and then we'll see if I have that aptitude (and courage) to continue.
As you may have been able to tell from the title, I am down in the South. I live just north of Atlanta but really am originally from Michigan and don't really talk like that (although most of my buds do).

For the last few months I have been reading and researching everything I could find. I have got a few books, downloaded some DVDs and of course checked out all of the forums. It appeared that most every question I typed into Google, one or more great responses came from RIU. As everyone knows, there are many great cannabis sites out there, but you guys and gals appear to be the cream of the crop (or maybe I should say hash of the crop to keep the analogy consistent )

I'm starting my first grow hydro. I already had a lot of equipment left over from my reef aquarium days; lots of timers, lighting (CFL and MH), CO2 tank with solenoid, tons of plumbing fittings, RO/DI water system.

I'm starting off on bag seed until everything is built and tested. Then I am looking to get at least one nice sativa, maybe Cinderella 99 or one of her hybrids (AK47, and I need a good night time strain with good effects on pain, especially muscle spasms and have been looking at White Rhino.

I have more to say and some questions, but I guess I will save those for the appropriate forums.

hehe, I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the passage of Prop 1, but I've been down here for over 14 years and I don't have any family in Michigan anymore. However, I still am a huge Red Wings and Michigan State Spartans fan.
