whats crackin y'all? ok i just started growing in my closet in my room and i was wondering if florescent lights will work good. i planted 6 seeds yesterday and im fairly new at growing and if u will give me some pointers please and thanx.

pay no attention to the ijits my friend. yeah cfl's will work, just keep them as close to the plants as possible. Other than that read all you can on this site. Lotsa stuff to learn. good luck and welcome...

what kinda seeds you growing

Welcome... enjoy and do read FAQ... Two main things that kill pot plants... too much water/nutes, so be careful and enjoy growing.. Luck..

im just growing some seeds from some local weed here... idk really what kind they are. and that makes me remember...how can or can you tell if you have female seeds? thanx again peeps

Welcome to Rollitup. There is no way to tell if a seed is female or male, you have to grow it to find out. Read through some threads and check out the growfaqs.

ok so im using the green house effect and i only have two florescent light bulbs hanging about 2" above the plants and a fan and a small heater in my closet (will post pics soon) and i will buy more florescent lights as i can but i was wondering if this will be enough since i cant afford all the hps and mh lights and all that yet...?
