There once was a humble vegtable farmer,happy to sell his crop at market for a fair price.Providing a roof and small comforts for his family was all that it took to maintain a sence of happiness and well being.The summer of 2007 was however a turning point in this humble farmers life The unexpected pregnancy of his wife followed by a summer of drout and poor fall harvest made the farmer realize he needed to expand his horizons if he were to maintain the quality of life that his family had grown acustom too.So the search began for a profitable side venture.This is how our farmer came to know marijuana and how marijuana changed his life...

....He remembered the large University a few miles out of town, and how some of the students would frequent his favorite watering hole in town. They often smelled of marijuana when he passed them. He decided to visit the bar the next weekend and try to start a conversation about his new interest. In the meantime he visited the local library and did a little research on the cultivation of marijuana, he also discovered a discreet source for high yield, high potency seeds and placed an order then and there. His heart was pounding as he was afraid one of the locals would discover his internet activity, but he made it out of the library unscathed and with a sense of relief.

He smiled to himself as he got into his beaten up Ford, "Am I really about to do this?". "I feel like a big city criminal....'The Weed Baron'" he imagined the headlines blaring. His smile faded as the memory of rejections from government agencies he attempted to get assistance from crossed his mind. The look on his young wifes face when the realization that there may be no food or shelter for the impending newborn hardened his features, he scowled. They had forced his hand. There werent many options for a man with an elementary education, he couldnt just send a resume out, or visit a headhunting agency. He was a farmer, as his father was and his father before him.

The seeds came before the weekend and after he had purchased his supplies. He had decided on using the abandoned barn on the edge of his property. Remembering the dry spell his father had gone through, and how pappy had used that barn as a distillery for his moonshine operation. Another smile. With the seeds germinating he went about setting up his grow room......

He had worked out from hisresearch that setting up a heap of h.p.s lights to deck out the barn would be stretching the poor family budget too far,but he really wanted a fast turnaround but he knew for now he would have to compromise and use the suns power,however he had alot of old pipes and stuff lying around the farm so he decided to set up a hydroponics system in the barn, he removed what little roof there was left on the barn so he could get maximum sun, after a couple of days preparation and hard work his ideas were finally startin to take shape not bad for a begginer, he thought to himself........

With conscience flying,he went to work.He cut a old water heater in half to use as his resivor,connected a sump pump and various pipes to a custom grow table.poked tiny holes in his garden hose.and went about assembling his hydro system.With the roof removed from the barn,he thought if it rains im fucked.So he went to the local home depot and bought translucent plastic sheets to solarize his barn.

When he got home with the new sheeting he was amazed to see his wifes bags packed at the front door, when approached she told him he was putting to much effort, time and money into his marijuana venture....
