I know a lot of people don't consider it art, and really I don't particularly like the word "art" itself, but it's kinda nifty just to tinker with images when I've got some free time.

First one I did today was of Aldous Huxley, one of my favorite thinkers and authors.

Honestly, I've only had Photoshop for a few days. Just pick it up and tinker with it. Guarantee you'll find some nifty tricks.

I am a studio art major with a concentration in photography and digital art. It drives me nuts when people say these programs are "cheating" or that the camera is what takes a good photo. It is no different than having multiple types of art brushes or types of paint. They are all just tools used in art.

The computer was a gift from a mate of mine, and it came with Photoshop 7. I'm kind of glad he threw it on here. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have paid the price for the software.
