Yes I am very critical of this work but it is when I frist started painting with water colours and unlike acrylics they are not in the least bit for giving.

They are not the type of people to get all mushy and sentimental but they are still hanging on their walls so I suppose that they like them.
Have you ever tried using acrylic paints?
Yes but I really didn't give it a fair change. I started with pastels and water colours first.

The reason why the eye in the bird is unusually large is because it is a glued on google eye. It moves. LOL.

I thought it was a cute added touch. I gave it to her one mothers day and not they would never trade my pictures and replace them with something else.

I think you should give them an honest effort Miss Lacy. They are slightly less forgiving in the fact that if you do something that dosent look like you intended then you can paint over it relatively easily.
I just think you have great talent and acrylic paints could possibly pull the most out of it into your paintings.
Not only is talent and practice important But medium used is just as important.

Yes acrylics are very forgiving. I have to agree because I did use them in school once or twice but didn't get into it too much.

Oh thank you and yes you are right. I probably chose one of the hardest mediums to work with.
I can get quite creative so perhaps I will try something new. Thanks for the idea.
