My sister had a rough time with her last kid. She had 3 babies die shortly after birth. I wrote this after one of those babies. I have never showed her this.

His last breath was cold,
Only three day's old,
The life that he lived -
Was something to be admired.


So I scream die?
Stop child of mine,
I'm holding on to -
all the waves that crash before us.


So I scream die?
Why can't it be my life?
I've lived enough-
Why can't it be his turn.


The thoughts began to fade,
His life had slipped away,
I fell to the floor-
Screaming out in pain.


I screamed die?
The love I had inside-
Will be here with me,
When I think of you.

*claps* thats beutiful. my mom had a set of twins die shortly after birth between my and my little bro's birth and when i read it to her she was very moved. give your sister my love.

Thank you very much. I'm trying to rebuild a relationship with my family and I think this would help the process.

Definitely... You only get one family you know... Life is too short to spend feuding. My sister too has had the same problem... It sucks but this is what life throws at us.
