Thanks alot man, its a slow process, I keep re-writing things over and over, Ive got 4 paragraphs im planning on dishing out tommorow

2 more paragraphs I got done last night, I think i'll let them veg playing the game, they'll talk about the move, maybe, maybe a little scene with Kali and Andrew talking alone smoking a joint/bong, maybe a steamy scene, we'll see, then it'll skip a few days to the move, a little thing about the city, the apartment building and then finally they enter the room where the fun stuff begins, They will only have a quarter, when they enter the room, sorry its sort of dragging, ill get to the actual story soon



Everyone else joined me in laughter,
it was nice having friends who were laid back like myself. We all continued chatting idly about this and that until I
realized it was getting fairly hot. "We should take this inside, it's getting pretty hot out here."

"You're right Andrew, I didn't even notice." Jennifer said lazily, the indica was knocking her out.
"Let's head to the basement, it'll be nice and cool down there." I replied, standing first.
"Let's go Jennifer, I'll carry you down." He picked her up as I helped Kali to stand, she was mellow but still alert.
"Sleep?" Jennifer replied as we walked through the door and downstairs.

I led Kali to the largest sofa in the room. The room was noticeably cooler than outside, just crossing the threshold into
the basement a wave of cold hit me. The cold must have activated the sedating indica even more because Kali; although alert and
mellow before, was now ready for nap. I set up some pillows and gave an optional blanket for her to lay down on, as soon as it
was set she cuddled up to the back of the couch and dozed off. Collin put Jennifer on the love seat, she too turned around and
cuddled up to the back of the couch. " Well man, what do you want to do?" Collin asked, sitting on the love seat where Jennifer
had her legs against the back of the couch.
I looked around for awhile. "I'm not sure, my cousin has my xbox." I said, searching for something else
"We could play some Battlefront II." Collin suggested.
"Yeah man, we haven't played that in awhile." I picked up the old school game and deposited the CD into the Playstation 2.
"Do you mind if I pick the music?" He asked.
"Go ahead, surprise me." I replied.

My stereo system has been useless for quite some time. Why I haven't taken it to get fixed is beyond me. In our baked
ingenuity a few weeks ago we came up with the idea to have the video cord of the playstation plugged into the TV; while having the
CD play in a DVD player with the sound cords plugged in. In our minds, it was the greatest idea in the history of man; but we
soon realized anyone could have thought of it. I plugged everything in and started the game, while it was loading Collin slipped
a CD into the DVD player. He chose number six, it came to no surprise that Blindfolds Aside by Protest the Hero came on.
They were alright, I didn't like the vocals; although I did appreciate the guitar riffs. The complex rythmn changes of mathcore,
or metal core, whichever one it is there are so many sub genres these days I thought. Back in the day, way before I was born
it was basically rock, blues, hardrock and non-rock. So much more simpler in my opinion.

I started to emerge from my temporary oblivion and moved to the empty sofa seat beside Kali. Collin sat in the gap
Jennifer's legs were on the love seat. I set up the game we were going to play and within moments we were both lost within
the game. After countless hours of playing it, both of us were certified masters. Not to be conceited by I was probably a shade
better. Battles against eachother were usually quick, but bloody. Both of us always ran straight at eachother fighting in single
combat. We both possessed a special gun called the Elite Rifle, capable of killing eachother in one hit to the head. I concentrated,
three more stormtroopers had run up from behind him. I concentrated on them and was able to kill all of them swiftly with four shots.
I could tell Collin was straining to hit me, so used to firing wildly in the hopes of hitting something in the head; while I had adapted
to make my shots more accurate. After a few moments a stray grenade blew both of us backwards, my character did a backflip
twice through the air and then hit the ground with an inaudible thud. "Hey man, I just remembered I have this really good weed off
of my uncle. Do you want to smoke some?" I asked.
"Yeah man, let's smoke out of your bong." Collin suggested.
"Alright, let me grab everything." I said, as I stood up and produced a baggie of Kali mist weighing a little over four grams.
"What strain is that?" Collin asked, looking analyzing the bud.
"It's one of my uncles favourite to smoke, Kali mist." I said excitedly, sativa strains always agreed with video games.

I took the bong and put water in; while Collin was breaking some weed apart for the bowl. When everything was set we
proceeded to smoke the bowl. The Kali mist completely woke me from any thoughts of slumber, I was now ready for the rest
of the day.

Hey RIU, I think ive got everything all planned out good, im not going to post anymore of what I write, its getting too long

i always appreciate a good piece of literature, keep it up bro, ive written a few short stories and memoirs haha but i cant show them damn =/

lol I was just comming to post some shit, I dont write that fast, I do, but I tend to wlak awhile for awhile and come back to it, this is supposed to be a fairly long story, im almost to the point where they get to the city and move in, then you will get your horror

edit: Im going to continue writing what I originally have planned, but im going to skip over the boring stuff and get to the horror, dont want it to drag

I too have been wondering when you're gonna post more!!! lol I do have to agree with grow space though, that video game offshoot was a little too busy. All in all, good shit so far man! can't wait to read the finished product!

I've re-read the paragraph with the video game and realized it does go into too much detail, and has nothing to do with anything, I have re-edited to add more dialogue between the characters, and a breif mention of what they are playing. My friend was playing battlefront while I wrote it, and I was incredibly stoned, but as promised, I have started to write that parts where it actually comes to horror Ill give a little overview of what happens in chapter 2, im skipping to chapter 3, where they actually get to the place where all the shit happens



Chapter 2 Overview - Focuses on Andrew and Kali, they awake together in the morning on Andrew's bed. They talk while they
help eachother pack for the move. Andrew briefly speaks with his mother, she tells him she's proud that he got in university etc
etc. They meet up with Collin and Jennifer, they are driving in a seperate vehicle. More of Andrew and Kali talking while driving,
they arrive at the city, chapter 2 ends when they just pull up to the apartment building.





It was dark, a supercell had just approached from the south. Lightning flashed across the sky, and rain pelted the
windshield. I turned right onto Silent Road, the name sounded peaceful enough to me. More savage lightning flashed across the sky,
this time a crackling boom was heard. Kali shifted, but did not wake. I smiled as I turned into the parking lot of 1642 Silent
Road. From what I could see, the place was even better than what Kali had explained to us. The drive was long, I could feel the
fatigue starting to hit me. I peered at the clock, only 11:45. Collin had decided to stop at Mcdonalds' about five minutes
back, so they would be awhile. I decided to smoke a joint before they arrived. Since I was tired, and did not want to waste any
marijuana I picked the smallest joint to smoke. I cracked the window and lit it, after a few seconds of toking the song Santeria
by Sublime came on the radio. I sang along quietly with the song while I toked and layed back in my seat. After finishing the joint
I opened the window almost completely to have a cigarette. A wave of euphoria and relaxation had me completely submerged,
the cigarette intensified my high as I smiled to myself.

Kali moved again, this time she was sleeping facing me. She looked very peaceful sleeping, I reached over to play with
her hair when a bright light hit the car. The other car pulled up beside me and parked, it was Collin and Jennifer. Like Kali, Jennifer
was sleeping in the backseat while Collin smoked a joint in the front seat. I exited my car and walked over to his window, lighting
flashed above and completely illuminated the building. Our apartment was on the third floor, as the lightning struck I peered into the
balcony door. For a moment, something that could not possibly be there caught my attention. In every window and the balcony
there were people standing still, peering out into the darkness. I stopped in my tracks as lightning flashed brightly again. This time,
they were all looking at me and they were extremely pale. Lightning flashed again and illuminated their faces, some of them looked sad;
while other looks absolutely furious.One of them put their hand on the window, my heart raced as I tried to
comprehend what I was seeing. Then, with a fourth burst of lightning, they were gone and the windows were empty. I shook my head
and said to myself. "Man, this is some good shit."
