If you were to acquire some new plants that had symptoms of spider mites, how fast could you bring them into your room.
Would one night in a seperate room with no ventilation, next to a no-pest strip and well coated in your favorite mite-spray do the trick? |

I would spray them thoroughly with an insecticide first before letting them in.

dip them with a neem oil or azertol solution, wait a couple days and check under the leaves with a 30x microscope. the mites might be all dead or dying, but of you still have eggs you should wait until they hatch and die before you intrduce them to your clean plants. otherwise, you need to treat your clean plants with a insecticide spray before you bring the infested plants in.
