me and my uncle this our first time grow. we are wonderin if our set up is any good. we have a bud box tent 6oow grow light growing hydro nft. a carbon filter & small fan not sure wot the things are my uncle bought them. grown from seed took 3wks to veg wonderin when to start flowerin is it 12" for defo you will see from my pics comments plz plz plz need to know if im going wrong or right thank you will get better pics

Hi buffdog, welcome.

Is that a wick system underneath or do you water from the top? What kind of nutes are you using? Rockwool seems like such an interesting medium.

My last grow I vegged until about 12". Overall plant height ended up somewhere around 20" The rule of thumb is to veg half to a third the height you want them to stretch to in flower. Every strain is different though.

If you happen to grow them too big you can always tie some branches down (LST).

hi zero thanks for ur reply its a wick system ionic. grow bloom & boost temp is 90 is that good and humid is 48 reply plz

90 is bad. Way too hot! Your humidity is ok but try and get your temp down below 75F!

nice mate got two posts one on grow journal i thought i posted on right one here but was not sure so did that but i will have more pic for u mate soon as do want do know any more about my set up to help me thanks mate your a star

my plants are usually around 75 to 85 at the highest and their doing fine... they dont have to be at no 60

no 60 is way too low ya leaves will turn purple. 75-85 is good. If you got em at 60 then in flower you would have to have em at like 50-55 they'll freeze .
