i've grown in 95 for flower not veg cause i aint have a inline fan and still got good bud da leaves didn't even point upwards, I have real healthy plants. But lower is better for less stress.

Since you are using hydroponics I am more concerned about what water you are using. Setup looks sweet in general but I noticed you called it a NFT system then later called it a wick system. So my two questions are what type of water and what type of hydro system is it, wick or NFT?

nft system the rockwool cubes sit coton wool type stuff the waterpump pumps water on to the coton wool stuff and it drips back in to rez the water is tap use ph down to make it 6.0 dead on iam i going wrong thx for input can u help with any thing else nice brv

5.8 is better for a wide range of da micronutes. newhere from 5.5-6.3 wont kill it but 5.8-6.0 is best

Using tap water can be fine, however chances are the plants will do better with R/O water. (reverse osmosis) I am not sure how old your house / apartment is the faucets etc.. If you live in a new place chances are the tap water left out for a day to let chlorine evaporate and ph'd right would be fine. If you live in a place like me with old pipes, faucets etc... then the water could probably be way better.

What you are basically concerned about with water is the TDS / PPM, PH and temperature. I recommend getting a TDS / PPM meter, I am waiting on mine that I ordered for 15$ off ebay.
