I am in early flowering and have wonderful tops but there are large pistils that are about mid plant. I decided to cut one and look inside and found a very small early forming seed. I dont know whether this means that there will be seeds inside the larger flowers. If anyone knows anything about the subject and or how to tell if im have a herm, please let me know. Also this seed came from a flower that was beautiful but had a few large sees in it. Does this mean that it was doomed to be a hermie from the start? I am concerned about this because i dont want to start anything with "middies" seeds if this is going to happen. There has been no stress and in fact everything has been good. HAs this happend to anyone? Thanks for your time

Im working o the pictures, the camera i have is not good enough to get a decent picture. just a blur. Im going to get one so that i can hopfully get an answer. Has anyone heard of this type of thing happening? Middies plant coming from middies seed? It looks like a normal female but like i said it has large calyx with stigmas coming out which on about mid plant. i Cut one open and found a very small undeveloped seed. Does this man that the buds are going to have seeds as well?

Use the "Macro" feature on your camera ( Most have this) it will allow nice clear closeup shots. I have never seen a plant go to seed without having some pollen sacks. lok for the sacks, thy are yellowish in color and will look like a bunch of tiny bananas hanging out of the bud. CAREFULLY remove all pollen sacks, do not blow on them or disturb them, use a wet paper towel to wrap around them and pull all the pollen off the plant. Hopefully you got it soon enough before all the bud goes to seed.

do you see the large calyx with white pistils? I opened one from a lower spot and it had a very small undeveloped seed. their are no pollen sacks and there is only one plant and has been only one plant the whole time.

where did you get the seeds from.?
my guess is that those seeds came from a plant that was hermie to start with.
dont worry too much as you will get plenty of good smoke and some free seeds as well for your next grow.
