Hey all! Simple question. I have 4 plants goin for my first grow under some CFLs...it's been about a month and I'm noticing that all of them are showing yellowing/withering on the bottom most leaves (fan leaves?), that is the 1-bladed leaves right above those sprout leaves that have long since withered. This is normal??? Thanks for the help!

Its normal... they will fall off, or you can trim them.

The first single rounded leaves that come from a sprout are called seed-leaves, right?

Those first, round leaves are called cotyledon, pronounced cottle-eden.

But since most folks don't remember that name, or can even pronounce it, they call them seed leaves.
