well wiring isnt really that hard juss make sure u turn off all the power to ur house I MEAN ALL OF IT black= power white = netral attach power to power and neutral to neutral twist them together and put a wire nut of it than put electricians tape on the open spots and walah wiring is done

Hey Tradskin, I have some hall lights on a 3 way, I want to add a 4 way switch in the middle of the hall. Whats the best way to do that?

The biggest no no is to use those cheap Made in China extension cords... they say they're rated, but thats a false claim... most people that get popped it's because of bad wiring and fires...

Ive never heard a wire nut called a merrett before. What part of the world is that terminology used?

Please, the man offered help, he didn't say he was charging for it. I wired mine, from seting the pole and putting the grounding rods in to final inspection, doesn't mean others don't have questions. VV

Thanks TradSkin, so basically.....i can find the 3 wire that runs between the switches in my attic, cut it, splice longer 3 wire onto both cut ends, fish the new longer wiring down the wall and install the switch. Sounds good thanks again
