Welll ive read alot of threads about leds, mostly negative. I thought id throw this out there, I was reading this months high times, and they say leds are the future of growing. Citing it would only cost you like 5 bucks a month for the electricity. They had very good things to say about the UFO led system. They also had a LED system that they claimed was the equivalent of a 400w HPS system! A few more years of tweaking and evolving, and i bet we will all be using leds.

It is going to take a helluva lot of tweaking,iv'e seen the UFO in action and trust me paying 600 bucks for that thing had to be a slow, painful, ass rape.

i found some led on ebay and i am going to try them this winter. hope they work.
