apparently, someone is going to come by to appraise the value of my house. if i'm home, they will request permission to inspect my home. if i'm not home, they will set up an appointment.
i'm hoping i'm not home when they come, i'll make an appointment and hide my grow as well as possible. i'm more worried about someone coming when i'm sitting here, drunk and high, and wanting to inspect my home, without any warning. i guess i'll clean up and make the basement as presentable as possible. i can turn off the grow real easy and it doesn't smell yet, although i just started flowering. the note i got says the inspection will take approximately 10 minutes. they can't be very thorough, but it doesn't take long to have a problem. |

i'll try to keep them out of the house, i won't clean for a while. if they must come in, i'll try to keep them out of the basement.
dirtyboy, i thought the same thing. if i'm home and someone comes by unexpected, i'll walk out the back, get on my bike and ride away. they won't come in without my permission and if i can postpone for an appointment i'm set. |

i'm kinda bi-polar/OCD so i get paranoid easily and i smoke a lot, yes, i'm paranoid.
if i have to make an appointment for them to inspect my house, i'll be sure to completely wasted and mostly naked when they come. i'll make sure they can't get into the basement. my grow is all on one circuit breaker so it's super easy to turn off on a moments notice. i've hidden grows before, i can do it again. it's just more stress that i could live without. |

It depends on the type of appraisal being done. Some appraisals require the appraiser to go inside the house. Some just require the appraiser to drive by the property, take a picture, and provide some info.

That usually applies to houses that normally have unfinished areas, that have been finished and the value is being questioned.
