24 hour w/ out light?????

my plants r in thier 3rd week of flowering will it hurt to do a 24 hour period w/ lights off?

are you saying that they havent shown their sex yet? what kind of lights are u using? is their any light seepage at all, even a little? i wouldnt recomend going 24 dark again, stress during flowering can reslut in hermies....

I had to do it when the cap in my ballast went out. I think theyll be fine.
and IMHO I really haven't had any hermies from light leaks and sometimes I don't get up immediately to put my plastic down right away. No hermies but I don;t know if its been affecting yield. I'll be fixing it soon just for good measure.

i wouldnt recommend going no light at all, if you want to speed up the process, switch to 13 hrs dark, 11 light, but this is gonna decrease your yield and bud size by a little.

they are starting to bud but i was told that it could speed it up and i wasnt sure if it was a good idea or not so thanks cause i definatly dont want to effect my yeild.

Oh I figured U needed to change something. No you wouldn't want to do that if you don't have to.

Some say doing that is for when ur plants first go into flowering to force them to sex faster, haven't tried it though, I just stick them straight in 12/12 and leave them alone.
