my new grow room

1.5 POUNDS?????? how big is that room again, what kinda plants, what kinda nutes? you gonna pinch them or grow a ton of colas????? i really am interested in how you plan on getting 1.5 POUNDS out of that space every 2 months????

dude it's aeroponics and it fits 2- 35 gal totes exactly which each hold 12 plants a piece. On each of those plants i can average atleast 1 ounce of bud dry so you do the math. so ill help you 2x12 = 24 there is only 16 ounces in a pound so the other 8 is the half a pound equalling around 1.5 pounds. I am not sure with all the dirt growers here that some may not understand but i have seen this operation work like this using white rhino strain in less than 8 weeks. actually my buddy pulled out 2 pounds or so so my 1.5 is alot less then what the possibilities are i'll keep you updated with pics. Also there are only colas and hardly no leaves with this method. there are three rooms there the left 1 for mothers is 3x3x5 and the right one for bud is 3x4x5 just big enough for 2 totes 2 foot buds at 2-3 feet high with 2 feet to play with light distance the little top room was just big enough for a humidity dome and 2 tube lights but i am using for cables timers and such instead for now. this machine has only 2 wires hanging from the back for power(2 seperate cords from 2 different outlets from my house, and 2 2 foot home made carbon scrubbers hanging out the back. I use the suck and pull method which both fans are sucking from the holes in the machine and 1 for the light and 1 for the room= zero stink. Believe it or not my landlord came by to redo some of our upstairs rugs and used the basement alot where my machine is and i told him it was my tool shed for my tools and he bought it (i lock it of course). i use a premix from my friend which he has been using for along time now it helps that he works at a hydroponics store and is able to tinker with things. I may change my HID lights with som LED lights for my next grow depending on the test he is doing at the shop right now with them. All in all i know it sounds crazy but aeroponics is the way of the future along with LED lights and untill you see the results i also thought is this guy dreaming(but he wasn't).

Heh, the megacaps was totally unnecessary... I am very interested in your progress with your new room whackbag. I will be upgrading to 1000 HPS for my next grow, but I don't know what to do with the 400, until now!

What areoponics system are you using?

i built it myself using 2 31 gallon totes from wal mart very easy and very affordable , recommend building 1 themselves. 1000hps would probably be too hot for my setup but i wish you luck with yours-heres to smoking big buds

Well I do aero and know few who do also ebb and flow 1-12 oz per plant is what I have seen.I was gonna just use some 400 watt lights so I didnt have to use my 1000 watt light but went ahead got a light rail and a huge reflector and now going to change the lights to 1 1000 watt on the rail.My aero is 28 sites originally built by looking at a 36 site setup but opted for more room. Grow is so damn fast.2 weeks in veg will be plenty and 4 -6 in flower should have 3-4 foot plants.12 plants per container sounds like your packing them pretty tight in thos smaller totes though, I would not be surprised by lb though.Dont forget the sweet leaf or molasses at the end to swell buds 20% and most def use co2 setup..Good luck
