hey its very hard for me financially to have an amazing setup. But i just want to grow 1 or 2 plants in my room. Its usually 20 to 30 degrees in this room and i have an oscillating fan. My bulbs go from 75 to 150 WATTS.

Please check out the picture and let me know if you think this is an ok envoronment/setup and any suggestions.

what kind of lights you got

its from home depot
its a "plant light" (thats what it said on the box) and its kinda blue looking (misty)

weezer, you are going to need better lights, in 2 weeks, that light wont be enough to cover those babies... get 4 foot flouros, very cheap, energy efficient, start with that, and when ur $$$ gets better, invest in a HPS lighting system.... u will LOVE it.

But you can vegg with floros, no prob... its the flowering part that u will need hps... check my setup...

the flouros are the long tubes looking lights...
the hps is that bright light you see that looks orange...

hey man how you know i need better lights i got 4oomh and 400 hps.. oh you were talking to youngsprout ..yes he needs flosand maybe a closet..

you dont think ill be successfull like this? even with 1 female plant?

This is what you need if you wanna be succesful young...

Im telling you, flouros are VERY cheap, home depot, lowes or any damn place where they sell bulbs, by yourself a 4 foot fllouro, two bulbs, one cool white, one warm white....

they will cost you a total of 25 $$ dollars for the whole setup...
or, u can easily, get more of those lil lights you have, but if you want lots of braches, leaves and wat not, then you are going to need atleast 4 more of those lil lights,

and when you want to flower, buy 4 more and switch the compact flouro from all white to warm white 5700k or so and you will be fine,
but I warn you, dont expect a massive plant, it will stay short and just alright for ur own personal smoke...

u can expect maybe half ounce or less, until you get some nowledge and play with the big lights

as u can see in my set up, I use the yellow light for flower...
its a 600 watt hps,

I recently got another 600 watt, but this one is a metal halide, and its for the veg stage, and the mum...

gotta have a mum...

im fairly new as well, but as u can see, i already have been playing and expirimenting, now its time to work.

Rule of thumb, play around first, try not to get serious on ur first one, u will likely have troubles, maybe not, but likely.. then, when u have atleast 2 grows under ur belt, then get some $$$ and ivest in the bigger lights

a 600 watter can yield you 2 and half ounces of dank easily.
and you dont have to vegg log to achieve that, vegg till they are 12 0r 18 inches in height , then flower. but again, thats with the bigger light.

hope this helps, I dont now much yet, as im still a new myself, and have no guidance... word of advice, the Jorge cervantes grow bible is your best friend, and of course, our wonderful brothers here at Rollitup... i luv this fukin site

Last thing, try to always repot early n bigger pots, saves the stress later on when they areolder and have massive roots
