nice grow tips, all this grown under one 400hps? i want to grow purple wreck but nobody has it, want is your setup like, i just want to grow 5 plants.

I have 2 rooms, a veg room and a flower room. I keep 5-6 plants in veg and flower at all times. when I remove plants from the flower room, I move plants from the veg room into the flower room. then I germinate more and start over again.

thats cool, whats the lighting setup you have for both rooms im thinking about doing a grow tent.

I have a 400w hps w/hortalux(sp) bulb. In my veg room I have a sunleaves pioneer IV T5 light. grow tents are cool.

400 watts, quit wasting your time. Pump it up another 1200 watts, you will see some larger yields then.

yeah, that's kind of a big jump. And some unsolicited advice? WHAT is it about Tips that keeps these "experts" coming in here to correct him? I LOVE this journal. I also like Tips's philosophy to growing: KISS.

Hey Stoney, it's winter. I don't know where you live, but is this closet in a room that can be shut off from the rest of the home? If so, you might be able to just crack windows and get that area cooled off. And yes, I think cool tubes do a much better job of getting rid of heat; I just cannot for the life of me figure out how one of those is made. But you've also got your lamp already so not sure if that's something you want to try out. I have never used a cool tube--I'm in the "it's winter--open the window" club. Obvoiusly, this is NOT going to work when temps rise in the spring. But by then, I hope to be outdoors anyway.

So good luck Stoney. Keep searching the threads to find a way to cool it down in there.
