Hi everybody, im a newbie in this game. anyway started my first grow 4 weeks ago. i grow 5 plants in my room, still in vegetative state, under 250w HPS. i got the basic knowledge but lack experience. thus my question - are they ready to trigger flowering? the tallest is foot high, the shortest couple inches less. i woulg give em 2 more weeks but shit, maybe they are mature enough. i would appreciate more experienced growers opinion. pics included, also from the earlier stages. no professional ferts used apart from some eggs shells and natural compost from my garden mixed with the soil.

how much hieght do you have in room? and i would top them for more bush

the room is 2.5 m high, so im not worried bout the height. i can lower the light if theyre stretched, but afraid about plants getting too hot.

I grew WW my last and I love it. I would say you could start flowering, they will triple in size when you do , so be prepared...as for the light hold your hand over your plant and as long as it's not too hot for your hand it's ok...

yeah, i do the hand trick. i keep the light about 15 inches above the plants. do you think they are stretched? would you suggest topping em?

like tips said lower the lights with a hand test and get a fan on the to make the stem stronger. maybe top if you like, I heard they will get x2 x3 time there veg size.

i lowered the light and topped 2 of the skinniest. got to experiment i think. are there any other pruning tricks to make them bushier?

Since you have plenty of room, top them all at least once and let them veg for a few more weeks. They'll at least double in size during flowering, but with 2.5 meters that shouldn't be a concern. And yea they look a bit stretched. I suggest getting a thermometer and putting it at the same height as the tops of the plants... more accurate than the hand test. Also I'd consider getting some real flowering nutes, at least.

agree on the flowering nutes...my WW was more on the sativa side and even though I topped them, they just wanted to be tall and skinny. genetics at work...
