But I'll do my best to answer the other questions.
I'd scrap the GE bulbs and just get some 2' or 4' (space allowing)flouro's with cool white bulbs from any hardware store. Eventually MH and HPS should be in your room. As long as you have air flow through the plants the little fan should be ok for now and is probably not the reason for your leaf problem. Bugs don't sound like the problem either.

How old and tall are your girls?
What ppm is the nutes at?

Okay hopefully I can help here. It seems you have the same problem that I had recently. My plants were still very small and then I put them into a starting soil and added some miracle grow nutrients...BAD IDEA ON MY PART!!! They turned the same color you mentioned. Try repotting them into just starting soil with NO nutrients added whatsoever. Then later (a few weeks or until they start looking like crap again) put them in a 3 month soil that slowly adds nutrients to it.

As long as your lights aren't too hot you should be fine. Tap water is fine, but I would PH it just to be safe. I have a filter system in my house so there is no problem for me. I can drink the water from the toilet if I wanted to lol.....but I would never do that. Good luck my friend!!

But good advice. When you begin to add nutes start at about 1/4 strength.

Don't worry Mogie, you would only get it from the best toilet in the house....MY TOILET!!! I love drinking the water from my shower head when I'm obviously in the shower!! I'll share some of that with ya!

O hell ya. You don't have all that crap that is put in the public water systems. It might depend on where you live though. I have a well which is awesome, but then a filtering device to that we just added a few years ago. Works great and tastes great!! My plants love it too!

I will work on getting pics. Good analogy bytheway. I'm thinking that Paulino might have hit the nail on the head so to speak. What you just described is what I did, in my zeal to begin and have "Super-fast Growth." Did you get your supplies at Wal-Mart too...I suppose I will repot my ladies. I have a few more questions that might help me in my growing. As far as lighting goes it seems there is an overall consensus on this page that MH and HPS lights are the best. Where could I buy these, and about how much will they run? When is it appropriate to begin the cloning process and begin to make cuttings?
