Hi, this one is about 3 weeks in. I haven't counted but I'll go with 3 weeks right now. It's been getting natural sunlight for about 12 hours a day then normal florescent lighting for usually another 2 or 3. I've been using normal water and no extra stuff, it's more of an experiment than something I really expect to yield results. I can't buy any stuff because I live with my parents, and they'd have to drive me wherever to get fertilizer, nutrients, etc. or they'd probably check w/e I got in the mail if I ordered something online. S for the strain, I have no idea. It was a lot better than regs, almost as good as low grade nug. Also, will growing this way take longer, and is it even worth it? Another thing, I have no clue if it is male or female, it has 2 little leaf-like openings on either side of the smaller leaves, but I cant see a pistil or anything yet. Should I just dump it or wait to see if it's female?

So... anything that I could possibly find around the house nutrients wise?

Also, will the light from blue cold cathodes (yes from a PC case) work if they are like RIGHT above the plant? I'm trying to conceal my growing and Im building a grow box out of a footlocker.

i dont think they will work and if they do i dont think they would be very effective.... cfl's are your best friend in this type of situation, my first grow ever was in a small footlocker with 1 18" flouro tube, total yield....... .3 grams, you want as much light as possible
How to grow weed in your room woth out anyone knowing check his grow out, take some time and read it all, good info there

you should just put it somewhere outside in the earth. Sounds like you wont be able to do much since your living with your parents and what you are describing really doesnt sound good. Plus your really gambling working with only one plant.
