Hey guys. I was just wondering if someone could tell me the proper way to flush the plants before harvest. I heard one week before harvest change out nutrients ( i am running a hydroponics setup) i am using DNF. I was reading some info on DNF and they make this /dnf clear i guess thats what they say to use for flushing. Also i was wondering when the proper time to switch to bloom from gro would be. obviously when i go to flower the plant, but i heard keep the plants on the gro nutrients one into flowering then switch to bloom is this right? thanks for any help anybody can give me.

You flush by letting your trough fill up with clean water and then drain. The nutes keep giving plant the gro until your plants are at least 12" then switch lights to 12/12 and when you see the pistils(hairs)start to form add your bloom.KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

also check the FAQ under harvesting/curing... it's news to me but I guess there is some debate over whether or not it's a good idea to flush a week before harvest.

On one hand the theory is that by flushing out nutes you will (a) preserve a better tasting bud (b) force the plant to kick out more resin because it's freaking out

On the other side the theory is that (a) the buds will taste just the same/pure if they are cured properly regardless of flushing (b) taking nutes, is in essence taking away food for a week or so and causes the plant too much stress

I'm close to harvesting my first batch so don't take my word as the gospel. I'm gonna do both and see if I can make out any difference
