I'm a noob at growing, but my plants are 8 weeks old and looking healthy. I'm growing 'em indoors - in the window when sunny, under lights when not.

Can someone please tell me what this is (see pic) - my mate thinks they might be the start of female flowers but I have NOT induced flowering yet (plants getting 18 hours light a day). My mate grew a nice crop of stuff from the same seed about 6 months ago (very successful and nice to enjoy). Please tell me they're just more leaf/stem shoots or the star of female flowers!
