Cool Sativa buzz harvest

I haven't grown a pure sativa in quite some time. If one allows sativa to mature until most of the trichs are amber, should the buzz still be a super "up" high, or does it also become narco-couch death weed, as does most of these hybrids in amber heaven?

It will become more couch lock stoney rather than mind fuck / floating eyeballs. Best to wait til alll trichs are milky and then hang , a few will mature to amber whislt drying, so u get mostly a cerebral buzz with a little relaxing body stone.

Was HOPING maybe sativa would prove out differently, but wasn't expecting a miracle. That'd kinda nullify the difference between the two main pot genres.
