have 18 plants going...started them in cow manure compound..found that dont drain to well...switched them tomiracle grow potting soil..seem to be growing good but my lighting is just a 17 watt flouro..i know i need different lights...just not sure what...growin in closet of about 3by3...any suggestions?....thx

What's your budget?

With your space and number of plants I'm guessing you'll reach the limits of your budget before you could go overboard on lighting. So the question becomes, how much light can you afford? And don't forget to add in the cost of ventilation. If your looking to spend $50, the choices are different than if you've got $200.

too much plants for this space..if u want 18 plants...they must be grown from clones ...... SOG style baby!!! !!! lol u will need a 600W hps, very good ventilation(cooltube is prefered), some nutriens, and lot of patience rofl all imo

for the space you have you will be maxed out at about 2/4 plants lol and i would grow just 4 plants under 1 600w hps as its ok for flowerin and veg

ok guys this is my first grow..and im a lady not a dude and like i said in know i need different lights just wanted some input on what kind...someone said..20 watt flouros would get me started....and im thinking since this is my first grow ill be lucky to have 4 make it lol...any help suggestions is appreciated...i just burn it ..never grown it...lol

ok..started them 06/04/08 they are on their 3rd set of leaves...any suggestions on how to do my ventilation from a closet? Ihave a fan on them and they seem to be doing pretty good...dont care to spend some money to do it right...just need the know how....need to know where i can purchase the 600watt hps also....thanks so much
