if your closet has a light fixture & attic space above, you can remove the light fixture & wire up a an exhaust fan (depending on your budget, this could mean a high powered bathroom-style fan, an inline duct fan, or duct from a squirrel-cage or similar fan). this will give you a passive intake for fresh air & an exhaust port if you go with an
air-cooled HID unit (the best choice). you might have to cut into the drywall a little, but it's worth the effort. you could also duct through the floor into a crawl space, if need be. there are lots of places to buy HPS units, including your local hydro shop, but i shop at HTGsupply.
