Hey ya'll first post but have been hiding in the shadows for some time..
Just a quick thought....
It seems to me that when discussing this or any plant for that matter, that age has absolutely no bearing on maturity in regards to indoor growing....
Maturation is predetermined by genetic biology, not specific age......All other species of life do not 'mature' until natural or synthetic means begin to produce the hormones that change the biology of said species into a reproductive entity....
Plants are no different and a cutting from a four month old mother that is under light 24/7 may look allot better and healthier, but in reality said clone is no more mature than a two week old seedling because the maturation process of a plant is evolutionary programmed and dictated by the cycles of the sun, witch is simulated and manipulated by all indoor growers....
It doesn't matter if your plant is ten inches or ten feet tall, like ALL other species of life, a plant is not truly mature until it reaches puberty for lack of a better word and shows signs of sex and begins to flower.....Age really only determines size and yield, potency is determined by genetics and only affected through human error or manipulation.....
Just an observation, shred away if you like and I'll see you in Hell....
