| | 1st Grow >>> OG KUSH 9 wks into flower | | Updated pics...
Well guys and gals, this is my first medical grow with a og kush clone from my local dispensary/care giver. I have went through many trials and tribulations and have learned sooooo much from people on these boards. I purchased Lowryder 2/ LR2 and figured what the hell am i doing with such a small scale grow. I went through that process and only harvested about 1/2 oz. WTF, .... I purchased a clone from a local dispensary after trying their meds and i loved it. I started off with 2 clones with only one surviving...... >>>> here we go!
Here they are @ 4 wks flower and all the way through 7-8 wks of flower.
They were once organized using LST and other techniques, but that was due to a lack of verticle space i had in my first cabinet. As soon as i placed them into my new homebox XL with 1000W Eye Hortilux HPS i untied the baby and let her go. The buds on this thing began to get heavy and droop everywhere.
Im not sure on the flowering time on this baby, but i checked the trichromes and their about 75% cloudy, 5% amber, 20% clear. I really wanna chop it down so i can get my White Widow, Northern Lights, and OG in for my next beginner hydro grow.

| | If you guys got any suggestions for me in terms of time, quality, and looks, please let me know because im still a beginner and am open to all comments. As for the grow itself i have been on a cycle of Fox Farms Nutes Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom, all in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. Since these pics, i have staked and supported the heavier colas and it looks a bit more organized than the last 2 pics. Im currently flushing with Ph'ed water but am still using the organic big bloom until harvest. |

| | yeah, i followed FF schedule throughout the grow, but i kinda screwed up during its cycle. It is imperative that you read the directions carefully because it says every other watering. I accidently fed it everywatering until i noticed i was getting burn leaf tips. After that i checked the PPM of the runoff using a tri-meter and it read in the 2100 range which is way too much! I flushed it with Flora Kleen and am now on a Ph water cycle using big bloom until the day i chop her down. The runoff Ph was 6.2-6.4 so at least i got that in check. |

| | IMO its best to go with the schedule thats provided on the pamphlet rather than the one based off the back of the bottle. I have never gone more than the required amounts in tsp/tbsp because under ferting is usually safer than overferting i think. The soil itself on the other hand has a bunch of nutritional value so it should be good by itself. What i did notice was that during vegg, the grow big really helped a lot, a night and day difference in terms of overnight change. Transplanting/correct pot size was a hugh factor for me as well with this strain. Rootbound = no good. This grow started off with a 250 MH > 400 HPS > into 1000W eye hortilux HPS. I'll post pics of my current setup for ya'll to check out too.
> Jacks > I myself used FFoF mixed with some starting mix from Lowes that contained perlite & vermiculite (fluffy mixture) about 85% FF and 15% fluff mix. Using the grow big is definitely worth it since that was probably for me the best thing i have used that made a hugh difference in MY grow. Use it accordingly and all should be well! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
