Default Males popped

I've got a fairly large number of plants (around 90) vegging, about to switch to flower this weekend. I've been going through trying to get all of the males, but a couple of them (2-3) have popped before I got to 'em. Since they're not flowering yet, is this going to cause a problem? I'm putting a couple air purifiers in the room to get any pollen out of the air - is there anything else I can do besides the purifiers and spraying before I turn the lights back? Seeds would ruin my year at this point.

The sacks popped and it wasnt in flowering? As far as I know there shouldn't be many, if any, pollen sacks that have formed let alone burst...


Maybe a senior member can help you :S

its hard to say really just try n gt the males out as quick as possible ,if a male has shot its load you might get some seeds .
90 plants is a lot ,what lights are you using ?

Thanks. Using 2 1000's.. It's not enough, I know, but I just got the room wired with more circuits so I'll be hanging up another 1000 for flowering

Wow man, sorry to hear that. If the females have definitely not started flowering then you should be good. Make sure you spray (with water) all of your plants just in case any pollen is lingering around where the pistils will come out. Best of luck to ya!

How exactly have your males not only shown what sex they are, but managed to open their pollen sacks when they're not even in flowering?

That doesn't make any sense to me I'm afraid.

That's what I was thinking.. Maybe the amount of lighting confused the light cycle?!
