So finally have my plants growing good under 2 warm and 2 cool white
4 foot Fluorescents. I have all 10 seeds purchased from bcSEEDS.COM sprouted with regular papertowl germination and putting them in some germanation soil with little nutes in the soil. planning on keeping the best 4 to clone and see which are female then go from there and plant the remaining out side to hope for the best. I am Going to veg the plants with the fluorecents and switch to a HPS soon. I am currently setting up the main room they will live in which but am not sure if the space if have is good enouff. Going to put them in a space 8 feet tall 3 feet long and 4 feet wide. I want to split up the area into two rooms i was thinking 3 and half feet on the bottom and 4 and a half on the top. THe bottom will have the fluorescents for veg and the top will have the HPS for flowering. Top being larger since i need that extra 9 or 12 inches for heat problems with the HPS. Going to have the walls papered with mylar and good venting system with the vent going outside first venting threw a carbon filter. Going to stick with soil for since that is how i started them off and hydro seems to take up more room than that space can handle. I plan on compleatly consealing the area to eliminate most smell. I also plan on having only one mother plant and taking clones in the veg room. A couple questions for anyone that can help me. First question is will that be enouff space? and how much taller will the plants get during the flowering stage?. second question is when i trasnplant into new soil what is the best way to go from the germination mirical grow soil to the regular mircal grow. Last question is should i be using a 600 watt HPS i still have to purchase the light so i am open to anything. And yes this is the frist grow i have done lost of research but still running into some problems. |
