Sybstitue for mylar is this true???

uhh can anyone answer me or is the growfaq actually wrong???

yeah the stuff IS mylar. Its a thinner sheet that they put wrapping paper designs on the back of so that the pictures are all colored and shiny.

thnx man +rep u juss saved me lots of cash and do u see how fukked up the economy is put mylar on a christmas wrap for 2$ and sell a roll of mylar its self for maybe 20$ kinda fukke dup

even those emergency blankets they sell at camping section at some walmart or whatever works

anything made for growing or is commonly applied to growing is instantly jacked up in price just because they know people will pay it.

the thicker the mylar the more light it reflects though so your getting better quality with the more expensive thick stuff

well why not juss fold it over and over again so it gets thicker

i guess in theory that may work, dunno though. good point.
