How far should 600w hps be above top of canopy?

    yea I'm familiar with gpm, its not on the pump and I don't have the original packaging i inherited this stuff.. I have one that is a lil larger and it is like 557 per.. I pretty much judge what it needs by checking the weight, if its heavy and dripping a lil bit there good... if its light then needs water.. all a new science to me...

    I run my 600w about 11" depending on time of year and how much intake I'm using. I am using a fan cooled hood though. I like my canopy temps to stay under 82 since I don't run Co2. Nice looking setup.
