Realistic Indoor Yeild

Hi guys i just got to ask . i was just wandering.

specs
im grow 3 plants theyre 1 meter tall before i started to flower. im growing em in a spare room temps at a constant 80 degrees. nicely ventilated. im using a 400w metal haulide for veg growth. and 400w high pressered sodium for the flowering. im using nutes for the veg and the flowering cycle. the water is at a perfect 6.5 and theyre is no yellow leaves. im growing in soil and. im just starting to flower. the strain im growing produces extreme yeilds but i dont know what to exspect.

let me tell you 1 meter= 39.37in before flowering its looking to double its size when im done aand ready to harvest.

Hey dude! I went and read abot your species. It seems to me that you grow them pretty tall when you were vegging. You grew them to 40" tall prior to flowering? Thats 3.3 feet high, while in flowering they will atleast double in size. That's 6.6 feet tall. Assuming they "only" double, some will do more than double. They could grow to ten feet!
The problem you are going to run into is light penetration, your hps light is not going to penetrate that deep.

holy shit if you vegged at 40" then you gonna have some fluffy as lower bud sites....

with a 400hps be happy with a 1/2lb. that is a realistic goal. then improve on your mistakes. iv seen people get 1lb+ with 400w

Yr gonna need to do some really extensive training, or something to keep these manageable. Read up and DO IT NOW.

i have done research and i was expirimenting with this strain. i have been flowering since feb 24th its been a week. theyre doin great!

i have 2 lights 1 400w switchable ballest. and a 1 400w mh light. i only use the best and thats hydrofarm.

also i have the three girls in a tryangle formation and i turn them every day so all the budding sites get light. i have the light in the center i raise it and lower the light so i can get maxium light consumption.

im really excited im was hoping for atleast a 8oz but if i get a 1lb then it will make my year.

i will also start a grow journal for my next grow and that will be dj shorts truw blueberry. thats gonna be some kills.

also next week i will get some pics of my planst for all to see.

Dude, I am concerned that you may not get the yeild that you want, or that everyone is saying either.

One good thing is that you are using an mh and a hps, I assume you have them both on. In this case the more light, the better.

You are using lights that have a penetration of about 3 feet, factor in one foot of distance between the light and the plants, and that leaves you with 2 feet of light penetration, can you see where this is going?

You are going to have a 6-10 foot plant, and lighting that only penetrates 2 feet. (more likely in the 6 foot range)

i'd say a pound shouldnt be a problem , light penetration will be a problem you mite want to consider sum side lighting to help lower bud growth

ok repsonding to videomans post; i though the question was what is a realstic yeild using a 400. but if you plant is gonna be 5ft+ tall you are not gonna get shit due to light penetration....

and joekikass obviuosly you have never used a 400w hps...a LB with a 400 light is not a walk in the park...as this is a freakin task
