It looks like the camera only picked up the heat through the windows. I thought the heat sig showed through walls and the roof too. Sucks to be those guys, I hope they find that snitch

Well, from what I read in the article and saw in the video the police stated they used FLIR prior to getting a warrant... in fact they say using FLIR helped them get a warrant.


If they get a good lawyer they may be able to get the case dropped based on the Supreme Court decision in the Kyllo vs. United States. FLIR without a warrant FIRST constitutes and illegal search.

Um actually it's a seperate warrant to do the IR scan... which could lead to a warrant to raid the house..
