T H Seeds critical hog indoor

This is my second run with critical hog. This strain has huge, frosty swollen calyxes with few leafs. It yields a lot of extremely potent bud. The only weakness is that it has only a vague citrus taste and smell. Definitely worth running again though, and people love to smoke it. The nugs are extremely dense. Not bad for a freebie. I let it bud for nine weeks (63 days) so don't cut it at 55 days like T H Seeds recommends, you will lose a lot of yield if you do!

"TH Seeds Critical Hog

Height: 120-160 cm
Yield 350-550 p.s.m.
Flowereing Time: 55 days

This is a comercial growers dream. Very easy to grow and a huge yield.
The Tennesse HOG (via San Diego) High Times Indica Cannabis Cup winner meets
the Basque Country Critical Mass (numerous Spannish Cannabis compitition
winner). Due to the huge buds make sure the room is well ventilated and if
grown outdoors kept out of the heavy late season rain falls."

You know anything about their PG-13?
(Personal experience... I can always read info on the internet. :))

I have no experience with their PG-13, but let us know if you grow it out. I'm definitely interested in more of their strains after growing this one. Good luck! :)

How was your experience growing with it?
This strain does extremely well with a SCROG setup and it finishes in nine weeks. Increase the amount of flowering fertilizer you feed slightly every week, towards the end it will take tremendous amounts of ferts without burning. If you are dialed in really well you can get a half-pound easily under even a 400 watt light. It looks done at eight weeks, but it is worth letting it go another week because the buds will swell and foxtail. I used coco coir, worm casting, chicken manure, vermiculite and perlite. Expect better yields with hydro.

I was using double the amount of fertilizer (MaxiBloom) that the manufacturer recommends towards the end (I do not flush). It really does eat like a hog, and it has an incredibly strong Indica couchlock high. I suspect that the Tennessee and Spanish Indica strains used are genetically different enough to give it a ton of vigor. Good air circulation is a must because of the thick buds. Topping is a good idea because I am sure the center cola would be a thick monster susceptible to rot.

This is an extremely easy to grow, potent cash cropper with great bag appeal. I supplemented the nutes I used with chicken manure tea when I noted that the plant needed nitrogen. I kept the grow tent at a comfortable 72 to 77 degrees Fehrenheit with a gallon of fermenting apple juice (4 cups sugar and champagne yeast added) to supplement CO2.

Anybody else notice that these strains and strains crossed from these lesser-known competition winners are better than the High Times Cannabis Cup winners? I wonder if it is because they are less commercialized and are not based on hype? I'm keeping my eye on the winners of Spanish competitions.

Thanks for the report I may order 60+ beans and do a sog grow but I'm debating on critical hog or greenhouse the church to do this....

60 GHS The Church... If they don't herm, you'll be able to look forward to larfy hay tasting buds of mediocre potency.

I'd go with the Critical Hog if those are your only 2 choices!

The Hog and Critical Mass are the parents of Critical Hog. I haven't grown either, but they may be similar to Critical Hog.

pure ak from female or grape fruit i steer away from GHs in general the person before me was very accurate, wont be impressed by look or taste, eyevalue, lol. silly way to put it but simply put.
although if they stay decent dont herm, (tthey produce like mcdonals just as GHS does. i heard strawberry from GHs is way to go through them but why do that wehn you can do Female seeds pure ak or something from them, great things happen with grapefuit (normal one much more potent run lil heavy on perlite/verm bone<blood by 5to3 on grape fruit if running pro soils, same with most of there seeds see best luck with of course dro out have fun...they have good ww, im female seeds serious seeds< if u are spending money sometimes best to go with breader that does it right and have best reps. get 6 back from them and see how well you do=D pratice hydro with warlock or female pure ak. <how practiced
i do love the sound of c-hog

Hey sorry for the bother but I'm looking into getting this seed and I'm a first time grower so can you tell me what p.s.m stands for?

I would say it is "per square meter" meaning grams per square meter - this is the typical way they indicate yield when looking at seeds
